MISSION STATEMENT

To support the strategic plans and operational objectives of the Police Service by aiming to be a centre of excellence for providing the best possible professional advice and promoting best practice on efficient Estate Management and Property Development.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES

  • To provide a national forum for Police Estate Managers, promoting the enhancement and sharing of knowledge, management skills and professional expertise.
  • To act as a professional consultative body for the Police Service with particular reference to the management and development of the Police estate.
  • To further the strategic management of Police property, advising the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) with a view to securing and promoting the efficient use of estate and ‘best practice’ nationally.
  • To direct and manage the Feeder Team activities and their contributions to NPEG objectives.

WORK TEAMS

WORK Teams have been established to carry out specialised and detailed work and to advise NPEG on best practice in particular areas. These are currently:

  • Benchmarking Team
  • Custody Team
  • Custody Review Panel
  • Environment Team (now rebadged the Emergency Services Environment and Sustainability Team) 
  • Strategic Growth and Income Generation Team
  • IFRS16 Task and Finish Group
  • Building Fire Safety Regulations Group
